Camunda is looking for a talented Senior Technical Writer to join their fully remote, global team. In this role, you will be embedded within product teams to own and drive documentation for key areas of the Camunda platform. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure that technical content is clear, accurate, and deeply aligned with the real-world needs of developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership: Lead documentation efforts from concept through release, including planning, writing, reviewing, and maintaining content.
- Collaboration: Work side-by-side with product teams to align documentation with feature roadmaps and product developments.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Develop hands-on experience with Camunda’s platform—including their work in AI and agentic orchestration—to create documentation that reflects actual usage.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve the structure and clarity of documentation using analytics and user feedback.
- Standards: Contribute to documentation tooling, standards, and the adoption of Docs-as-Code workflows.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical writing experience (or equivalent).
- Strong portfolio of developer-focused content (user guides, tutorials, API references, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Java, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and similar technologies.
- Understanding of AI concepts, including LLMs, RAG, and agentic orchestration.
- Proficiency with Docs-as-Code frameworks (e.g., Docusaurus), Git, and Markdown.
