## Role Overview

* **Job Type:** Full-Time, Part-Time, and Relief contracts available

## Primary Responsibilities

As a Support Worker for Dorset Council, your day-to-day tasks will be varied and highly rewarding. You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health conditions, or age-related needs. Your duties will include:

* **Daily Living Support:** Assisting individuals with everyday tasks such as meal preparation, domestic tasks, budgeting, and shopping.

* **Personal Care:** Providing dignified personal care support, which may include assistance with bathing, dressing, and managing medication.

* **Community Integration:** Encouraging and accompanying residents to social events, recreational activities, and local community groups to combat social isolation.

* **Building Independence:** Helping individuals develop and maintain key life skills so they can live as independently as possible.

* **Record Keeping:** Maintaining accurate, confidential digital records of the support provided and reporting any changes in a resident’s wellbeing.
