CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY

Participants must:

A) You must be a full-time freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at a recognized university in the United States or its territories.

B) Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

C) Be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident of the US or one of its territories, or have a student visa valid for the period of the Essay Scholarship Contest submitted.

Eligibility

• The essay should be 500-700 words long.
• Each entry must include an essay, the entrant’s contact information, the entrant’s full name, the name of the university in which they are currently enrolled, their current major, an email address, and a phone number.

The LasikPlus Scholarship

$2500 All students are eligible for the LasikPlus Scholarship. The scholarship is worth $2500 and is given to students who have a goal that can be realized via continued study and community involvement. Applicants must be full-time freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled at a recognized university in the United States or its territories to be considered eligible.

Applicants must also have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Aside from the aforementioned requirements, applicants must be citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States or its territories, or hold a valid student visa for the duration of the Essay Scholarship Contest participated. This scholarship will be awarded to only one person.
