How to Begin Looking for scholarships and fellowships that are externally funded and nationally competitive

Many nationally competitive scholarships are available to assist you in funding your studies while also adding more distinction to you, your résumés, and the University of North Texas.

Because of the Internet and the sharing of websites, you now have access to some of the most advanced search engines available. Finding an opportunity, on the other hand, is only the beginning.

With the assistance of the UNT Office for Nationally Competitive Scholarships, we are prepared to collaborate with you and your faculty mentors to provide feedback on the style, tone, and arrangement of any essay you want to submit for competition.

As a result of this course, you will improve your writing abilities and have a better understanding of your future objectives and responsibilities.

Furthermore, undergraduates will discover that they may adapt their national-scholarship narratives to graduate-school admissions essays, increasing their chances of obtaining internal fellowship funding.

The theoretical introductions to master’s theses and doctoral dissertations are created by graduate students as a result of their scholarship proposals being accepted by the scholarship committee.

Instead of a “lose-lose” situation in terms of the writing you will undertake and develop, the process of applying for a nationally competitive scholarship is a “win-win.”
